About Me

Sierra Sass is the founder of Sass Dental Consulting LLC and a dedicated dental professional with a passion for helping practices thrive through strong systems and meaningful support. She understands firsthand what it takes to build a successful career while raising a family—and brings that perspective into every aspect of her work.

While working as a dental assistant, Sierra attended college and raised two daughters, an experience that shaped her deep appreciation for efficient workflows, resilient teams, and the transformative impact of the right support systems. She is married, a proud mother, and grandmother, and her personal journey continues to influence her practical, people-centered approach. Born and raised in Oregon, she earned her Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) and Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credentials through the Chemeketa Dental Assisting Program in 2003.

Following graduation, Sierra quickly expanded her role beyond chairside assisting. She managed a head and neck imaging center, supported a bi-monthly implant study club, and redesigned clinical systems to improve workflow and efficiency. After a decade with the practice, she transitioned into clinical and operational leadership, gaining extensive experience in the business side of dentistry.

Her leadership journey includes overseeing new practice buildouts and serving as Chief Operating Officer for a growing dental group. During this time, she successfully led the launch, management, and expansion of more than 20 general, specialty, and Medicaid dental offices—guiding practices through periods of significant growth with confidence and clarity.

Today, Sierra brings over 20 years of hands-on experience to her consulting work. She specializes in helping small, family-owned practices that feel stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to grow. Her approach is straightforward: implement clear systems, build strong teams, and create practical solutions that increase productivity without burning people out.

Sierra believes that a well-run business does more than improve profitability—it strengthens office culture, increases staff retention, and elevates patient care. Her mission is to help dental professionals build successful practices while maintaining a fulfilling life outside the office.
